About the Role
Permanent opportunity available on either a full-time or part-time basis:
- Full-time: 38 hours per week; or
- Part-time over 5 days (reduced hours) will be considered for the right applicant
- Position based in Cairns
- Renumeration in line with the Clerks - Private Sector Award - commencing from Level 3 to Level 5 (dependent on skills and qualifications)
An opportunity exists for a skilled and motivated Administration Officer/Receptionist. The role provides administrative support and services for effective operations of the Diocese. This position will be responsible for reception/front of house, calendar bookings, MV fleet engagement, office & staff amenities, data entry, maintaining registers and ad-hoc project support when required. This position will be required to work to a professional standard, in keeping with the dignity and purpose of the faith community.
The successful applicant will demonstrate previous experience in a similar administrative/reception role, with expertise in office management systems and processes. You must have exceptional communication skills and thrive in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications particularly Office, Teams and SharePoint, and data management systems is essential.
